Xiaomi Bangladesh stands by the flood affected people
Xiaomi Bangladesh has delivered essential items to 2,000 families affected by the ongoing severe floods in various districts of the country. With the help of Bangladesh Navy, the company has given this assistance to the victims of flood affected areas.
The representatives of Xiaomi Bangladesh handed over the necessary materials to the president of Bangladesh Navy Paribar Kalyan Sangha on August 25 at the organization's office. Xiaomi Bangladesh believes that in this critical moment of the country, everyone will come forward from their respective places and stand by the flood-affected people.
Floods caused by recent heavy rains and water from upstream have affected tens of thousands of families in eight districts, including Feni, Cumilla, Sunamganj and Chttogram. More than 350,000 people have been displaced in Feni alone, requiring massive assistance.
Xiaomi Bangladesh Country Manager Ziauddin Chowdhury said, “In these difficult times, it is very important that we come together to help the flood victims. We are proud that with the help of Bangladesh Navy we have been able to quickly deliver our essential goods to the affected people. Xiaomi is committed to standing by the people of Bangladesh, especially in this critical moment, and we will continue this support as long as needed.”
